- According to Deputy Bolot Sagynaev, approximately 70 thousand labor migrants have returned to Kyrgyzstan. This statement was made at a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Science, Education, Innovative Development and Information Technologies, Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs, which took place on January 26.

Sagynaev noted that most migrants left Kyrgyzstan with only a secondary education, which complicates their employment in government service in the country.

According to the deputy, most of them worked abroad in the taxi sector and upon returning are not ready to engage in construction.

Due to a lack of business skills, many returning migrants have started to invest their savings in real estate, which, according to Sagynaev, contributes to a significant increase in prices for residential properties and rent.

The deputy proposed developing an application called "Business Tunduk," which would serve as an assistant for investors and migrants wishing to start their own business. This application should provide information on investments in various sectors, as well as instructions for gathering the necessary documentation.

In response, Deputy Minister of Digital Development Zamirbek Kozhomuratov expressed readiness to consider this issue.
