The IT industry of Kyrgyzstan has contributed about 40 billion soms to the economy over 12 years
Information was presented at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee dedicated to the High Technology Park
Over the past 12 years, the IT sector of Kyrgyzstan has contributed about 40 billion soms to the country's economy. This information was announced on January 26, 2026, during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee, which discussed the work of the High Technology Park as well as the development of science, education, and information technologies.
During the discussion, it was also noted that in the first three quarters of 2025, the turnover of residents of the High Technology Park amounted to 11.4 billion soms, and according to preliminary estimates, by the end of the year it could reach 16 billion soms. About 3,000 specialists work in this field.
Additionally, during the existence of the High Technology Park, 1.1 billion soms have been transferred to the state budget in the form of taxes, with the largest growth in these payments observed from 2022 to 2025.
Representatives of the High Technology Park management emphasized that no funds from the republican budget were used for its creation and that the development of the sector occurred with minimal costs from the state.
