Ministry of Agriculture: Meat Export is Currently Prohibited
During the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Agricultural Policy, Deputy Alisher Kozyuev raised the issue of the situation with meat exports from the republic.
In response to this inquiry, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Zhanibek Kerimaliev confirmed that currently, meat exports from Kyrgyzstan are banned.
Kozyuev noted that, according to his information, the company "Agroholding" is engaged in meat exports.
In response, Kerimaliev explained that according to the resolution, it is indeed "Agroholding" that carries out export deliveries of meat from the country.
He also added that previously, meat exports were conducted to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, mainly through the southern region, which was used for transit.
