The total gross output in the services sector reached 1,553.2 billion soms, which is an increase of 11.3% compared to the previous year.
The largest share in this sector was held by wholesale and retail trade — 36.2%, as well as financial intermediation and insurance services — 11.9%, and transport services — 10.3%.
The contribution of the services sector to the formation of gross domestic product was estimated at 5.72 percentage points, and its share in the GDP structure was 51.2%.
