Response from the State Agency for Land Resources
Aman Kebekov, a specialist from the State Agency for Land Resources, stated in an interview with "Birinchi Radio" that the purchase of housing by foreign citizens does not influence the formation of prices in the real estate sector of Kyrgyzstan.
He noted that the analysis conducted confirmed this information.
“There are concerns in society that the presence of foreigners leads to a rise in prices. However, this is not true. Our research showed that the share of transactions with foreigners accounts for less than 1% of the total volume,” Kebekov emphasized. He also added that foreigners cannot acquire land in the country, but they have the opportunity to buy apartments and houses.
