The purchase of real estate by foreigners does not affect prices in Kyrgyzstan
Kebekov pointed out the existing concerns in society that transactions with foreign citizens could contribute to rising housing prices. However, the analysis conducted revealed that the share of such transactions accounts for less than 1% of the total market volume.
He also added that foreigners cannot acquire land plots in the country, but they are allowed to buy apartments and residential houses.
"In most cases, it concerns citizens of Russia, who are essentially former compatriots with changed citizenship. There have also been cases of property purchases by citizens of China, but their number is also extremely insignificant," noted Aman Kebekov.
