The price of precious metals has soared to record levels

On the evening of January 22, the price of precious metals once again showed a sharp increase, setting new records.

Silver, in particular, has for the first time surpassed the mark of $96 per troy ounce, increasing by 3.81 percent and reaching $96.17. This data is confirmed by trading indicators.

Platinum recorded a historic high of $2,555.8 per ounce, while the price of gold rose to $4,887.86, just a few cents below the record set on January 21, which was $4,888.22.

Experts attribute this sharp rise in precious metal prices to increasing geopolitical instability, particularly regarding the situation around Greenland. Despite some softening of tone after U.S. President Donald Trump's speech in Davos, discussions on this topic continue. Trump promised European partners to take tough measures if they begin to sell off American bonds.
