The state debt of Kyrgyzstan reached $8 billion 850.12 million - Ministry of Finance
Domestic debt, as the agency's data shows, significantly exceeds external obligations and stands at $3 billion 527.41 million, which corresponds to 99 percent of the total debt. The majority of these funds are loans from long-term securities.
Regarding external debt, the largest share consists of loans provided by the Export-Import Bank of China. This amount reaches $1 billion 499.61 million, which accounts for 28.4 percent of external obligations.
It is noted that as of November 30, 2025, Kyrgyzstan's public debt constitutes 43.49 percent of the country's gross domestic product.
