In 2024, the growth rate of investments was 36.3%.
Comparison with the previous year shows that the increase in investments occurred due to a growth in domestic sources by 9.0%, while external sources increased by 1.8 times. In particular, investments from the republican budget in 2025 increased by 42.7% and reached 90.3 billion soms.
The main share of investments, approximately 85% of the total volume, was directed towards the construction of facilities in sectors such as transport and cargo storage, mining, as well as the provision of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning, manufacturing, educational institutions, and residential construction.
The growth of the economy's capitalization in 2025 is attributed to several factors, including a significant increase in residential construction under the "Menin Üyüm" program, within which the construction of 4,662 apartments was completed. Additionally, there is an increase in capital investments in the urban infrastructure of Bishkek and Osh, as well as in the construction of sports facilities and the development of tourism infrastructure.
During the reporting period, many social facilities were built, including 53 general education schools totaling 11,788.6 million soms, 10 hospitals totaling 1,893.1 million soms, 32 outpatient clinics totaling 520.8 million soms, and 43 preschool institutions totaling 4,136.9 million soms.
Considering the growth of the economy's capitalization, the total volume of gross construction output from January to December 2025 amounted to 438.5 billion soms, which is 21.1% more compared to the previous year. In 2024, the increase in this indicator was 28.7%.
The contribution of the construction sector to the gross domestic product in 2025 was 1.62 percentage points. The share of construction in the GDP structure reached 8.7%.
