Bakyt Torobaev instructed the GNS to review tax assessments for farmers after their appeal
Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, Bakyt Torobaev, held a personal meeting with farmers today. This information was confirmed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Present at the meeting were the deputy ministers, farmers from various regions of the country, and representatives of the State Tax Service.
The farmers raised issues related to taxation and expressed concerns about problems arising in tax calculations. They requested a review of tax assessments and the possibility of their adjustment within the framework of existing legislation.
Bakyt Torobaev listened attentively to all the appeals and instructed the staff of the State Tax Service to thoroughly analyze the raised issues and prepare proposals for their revision in accordance with the law.
The head of the ministry noted that supporting farmers and agricultural producers is a priority of state policy and assured that work to resolve issues in the agricultural sector will continue in cooperation with the relevant state institutions.
The Ministry of Agriculture clarified that the farmers were pre-registered through the public reception office and attended the meeting according to the approved schedule.
