More than 60% of frozen beef in Kyrgyzstan came from India

In 11 months, beef imports from abroad amounted to 3.9 million dollars.



According to the National Statistics Committee, more than 60% of the frozen beef that arrived in Kyrgyzstan is imported from India.

During the 11 months of 2025, the republic received 1,210 tons of meat worth 3.9 million dollars, which is 3.5 times higher than the figures for 2024.

The key importing countries for meat are as follows:

- India — 760 tons (an increase of 11.6 times)

- Belarus — 140 tons (an increase of 3.5 times)

- Kazakhstan — 100 tons (a decrease of 13.1%)

Additionally, frozen meat also came from Russia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uzbekistan.
