EEC extended the anti-dumping duty on welded pipes from China until November 2026
This duty applies to welded pipes, tubes, and hollow profiles made of corrosion-resistant (stainless) steel imported from China.
The new duration of the duty is set until November 12, 2026.
The EEC explained that the initial duration was supposed to expire on March 13, 2026. However, a request was received by the Department of Internal Market Protection, after which a repeated anti-dumping investigation was initiated on November 13, 2025.
“According to the regulatory framework of the EAEU, it is possible to extend the duration of the existing anti-dumping measure for the period while the repeated investigation is ongoing, which must be completed within 12 months from the date it begins,” noted the trade block of the EEC.
The anti-dumping duty on welded pipes from China was introduced in accordance with the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated February 9, 2021, No. 12. The duty rate varies from 14.62% to 17.28% of the customs value depending on the manufacturer.
