The Talas Region Residents Want to Export Beans to India
The deputy appeals to government agencies for support in preparing the necessary documents
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Jumabekov raised an important issue regarding the possibility of exporting beans from the Talas region to India. He sought assistance from Almasbek Abytov, the representative of the president and the cabinet of ministers in parliament.
According to Jumabekov, the situation with bean prices in Kyrgyzstan remains stable, which leads to financial losses for local farmers. At the same time, entrepreneurs report a high demand for beans in India and an attractive pricing policy. However, the main obstacle to export lies in the documentation: phytosanitary certificates issued in Kyrgyzstan are not accepted in India.
The deputy emphasized that Kyrgyzstan and India have mutually beneficial economic relations, and that the issue of recognizing the necessary documents can be resolved through the relevant government structures, the embassy, or directly during negotiations.
