In Kyrgyzstan, the grain harvest has decreased, but the collection of vegetables and fruits has increased.

According to the National Statistical Committee, in 2025, the gross grain harvest in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 1.8 million tons, which is 14.2% lower than in 2024.

At the same time, the harvest of fruit and berry crops increased by 17.5%, rice by 17%, vegetables by 11.3%, melons by 7.1%, and corn for grain by 5.1%.

However, the gross harvest of crops such as wheat, barley, sugar beet, tobacco, cotton, oilseeds, legumes, and potatoes also showed a decline: wheat by 26.8%, barley by 26.5%, sugar beet by 43.7%, tobacco by 44.2%, cotton by 49.2%, oilseeds by 11.7%, legumes by 3.6%, and potatoes by 1.7%.
