The Cabinet plans to triple the area for organic farming by 2029
The formation of target indicators includes the following stages:
• 2026 – 100 thousand hectares;
• 2027 – 140 thousand hectares;
• 2028 – 170 thousand hectares;
• 2029 – 202.5 thousand hectares.
Funding for the program will be provided from the resources allocated in the republican budget.

One of the key requirements of this legislation is that organic production does not allow the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, and agrochemicals, except for those substances included in the list of permitted substances approved by the authorized bodies in the field of organic production.
