Currency exchange rates for the weekend

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has presented new official currency rates, valid as of January 17.

According to the information provided by the regulator, the current values are:

US dollar (USD) — 87.45 soms, euro (EUR) — 101.52 soms, Russian ruble (RUB) — 1.11 soms, Kazakh tenge (KZT) — 0.17 soms, Chinese yuan (CNY) — 12.54 soms.

In commercial banks, the US dollar is purchased on average for 87.30 soms and sold at a price of 87.81 soms. As for the Russian ruble, it is bought on average for 1.09 soms and sold for 1.12 soms.
