More than 60% of approved funding in Kyrgyzstan goes to three organizations, - study

As of the beginning of 2026, the volume of approved project financing in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 10 billion 900.1 million soms, according to data from the EFSR.

These funds include various categories of financing: investment, stabilization, and technical assistance.

The largest share of the total volume belongs to investment funds, followed by stabilization financing, while technical assistance occupies the smallest portion.

The three main international partners — the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, and the Export-Import Bank of China — each provided over $2 billion, totaling $6 billion 665.87 million. This accounts for approximately 61.11% of the entire financing volume.

The next ten organizations invested over $100 million each, while the remaining 15 directed amounts from $1 million to $85 million.

Approved financing represents the maximum amount allocated for specific purposes or recipients over a certain period, allowing them to fulfill financial obligations using the budget or other sources.
