The Ministry of Finance has announced an auction that will take place on January 19, 2026. The purpose of the event is to place temporarily free funds of the budget system in deposits of commercial banks.
The auction will be organized on the platform of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange. The planned placement of funds will be for a period of 12 months, with an initial interest rate of 11% per annum.
The auction will include 21 lots with a total amount of 20 billion soms.
The lots will range from 100 million to 900 million soms, and will also include larger packages of amounts 1 billion, 1.2 billion, 1.4 billion, 1.6 billion, 1.8 billion, 2 billion, 2.5 billion, and 2.8 billion soms.
All lots will have the same placement term of 12 months, and the starting yield will be 11% per annum.
