Starting from April 1, 2026, a significant salary increase is expected for workers in the healthcare, education, and culture sectors — by at least 100%. This information was announced by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, at a recent meeting.
In addition, starting from October 1 of this year, a salary increase for certain categories of state and municipal employees is also planned, which will be no less than 50%.
Kasymaliev emphasized that significant financial resources will be required to implement these measures. At the same time, he noted that in 2025, the Customs and Tax Services successfully exceeded the revenue collection plan for the budget.
