The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, led by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, has approved a new strategic document that includes 900 specific measures aimed at profound changes in the country's economy and social sphere.

The main goal of this plan is to achieve a qualitative leap in development. According to the established objectives, by 2030, Kyrgyzstan must ensure an average annual growth of gross domestic product (GDP) at the level of 8% and increase the total volume of the economy to 30 billion dollars. The program also envisions an increase in GDP per capita to 4,500 dollars, as well as entry into the list of 30 countries that have succeeded in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and improving positions in the Human Development Index.

The plan includes four key strategic directions. The first is industrialization. Within this direction, a National Industrial Development Fund will be established, a network of technoparks will be deployed, and preferential loans for enterprises focused on energy efficiency will be introduced. The second direction is transforming Kyrgyzstan into a regional transport hub, which includes the implementation of projects such as the construction of the "China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan" railway, the opening of new border crossing points, including "Bedel," and the modernization of roads to the borders with Kazakhstan and China.

The third direction focuses on the agricultural sector and tourism. Plans include increasing areas for organic farming to 202,000 hectares, creating class "A" agrilogistics centers, and attracting international hotel chains for the development of ecotourism and sports recreation. The fourth direction is green energy, which involves large-scale construction and modernization of hydropower plants, such as the Kambarata HPP-1 and the Upper Naryn cascade, as well as laying new high-voltage power lines.

In addition, the plan includes reforms in public administration, digitalization, combating corruption, as well as the development of educational and medical systems. The successful implementation of all proposed measures will serve as the foundation for the long-term sustainability and well-being of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan by the beginning of the next decade.
