The new JSC "Berekett Bank" has joined the deposit protection system

As of December 30, 2023, JSC "Berekett Bank" has been officially added to the registry of participants in the deposit protection system, as reported by the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the agency, "the deposit protection system is designed to ensure the protection of clients of banks, microfinance organizations, and housing savings credit institutions that have a license from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to accept deposits, in the event of guaranteed cases by providing compensation in accordance with the legislation."

The founders of the new bank, opened in Kyrgyzstan, are Nurgoyoev Nurdolett, the youngest son of President Sadyr Japarov, and Marat Sultanov, the former speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh. This information is confirmed by data from the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic. The bank is headed by Jarkynbek Sagyndykov, who previously held key positions at OJSC "Bakay Bank" and was the chairman of the board of OJSC "Commercial Bank 'Kyrgyzstan'" (now known as MBANK). He also led the bank "Bai-Tushum."

The license for the establishment of JSC "Berekett Bank" was issued by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on October 10, 2025, and registration with the Ministry of Justice took place on October 20, 2025. The bank will engage in commercial activities.
