Starting from January 1, 2026, there will be an increase in excise tax rates on alcohol in Kyrgyzstan. This information was announced by the press service of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

“According to the government decree of Kyrgyzstan dated December 18, 2025, the phased increase of excise taxes on alcoholic products will begin on January 1, 2026, and will last until January 1, 2029. The excise tax rate on vodka will be 200 soms per liter starting January 1, 2026,” the official statement says.
