Nearly $60 million was brought to Kyrgyzstan's budget from vehicle registration in the incomplete year of 2025

From January to November 2025, the fees for vehicle registration amounted to 5 billion 148.8 million soms, which is equivalent to approximately $58.8 million. This data was presented by the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan.

In comparison with the same period in 2024, revenues from these fees increased by 3 billion 50 million soms.

It is worth noting that during the first ten months of 2024, there was a decrease in budget revenues from vehicle registrations. This was due to the new rules for calculating the recycling fee for vehicles imported from EAEU countries coming into effect in Russia. The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development predicted that these changes would negatively impact the budget of Kyrgyzstan.
