The initiative starts with the organization of a test run, during which a convoy of ten trucks will depart from Uzbekistan through Tajikistan to China. This decision was made jointly by the transport ministers of both countries, who also agreed to transition to an electronic system for issuing permits for international freight transport, which will significantly simplify the process.
In addition, an increase in capacity is expected at the "Dzhartepa - Sarazm" border crossing point. A logistics center will be established here, capable of processing up to 100 trucks per day and ensuring a more efficient processing of the necessary documents.
